Born in Kraków in 1977, she lives in Vienna. Since 2010 she has worked in theatre as a director, author, producer and assistant director with independent theatre groups in Austria, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. In 2013 she co-founded the bilingual theatre XYZ, which she chaired. The company performed mainly in Austria and toured to Germany, Slovakia and Poland. In 2022 she was artist in residence (Dramatikerin in Residenz) at the HIN & WEG theatre festival in Litschau. Her plays are represented by Kaiser Verlag in Vienna.
For many years she worked as a journalist. For the magazine “Polonika” she wrote features and columns and conducted interviews. From 2012 to 2019 she reviewed films and books for “Monitor Polonijny”, published in Slovakia. Since 2025 she has been a columnist for the magazine “Kraków i Świat”.
