About the play
One afternoon a young businessman discovers that a homeless man has made himself at home on his allotment. The mysterious stranger refuses to leave the plot and claims, calmly and serenely, to be its rightful owner.
What follows is a battle over ownership that could hardly be more absurd. This satirical comedy of everyday life addresses the social and interpersonal pigeonholing that society creates, as well as toxic masculinity.
With cheerful lightness, the play asks whether our shared need for freedom, love, closeness and understanding is not, at the end of the day, the only thing that truly defines us.
